The Field Guild · For product brands

Your product doesn't suck. Your marketing does.

Your ideal customers are out there. They're either following you religiously but haven't bought (or haven't come back), or they have no idea you exist. Both are marketing problems that we'll fix together in six months.

Get on the wait list

When the algorithms know you're a small business owner, you get served a lot of content that makes you feel like you're way behind.

You know, the new tactic you learn on a Tuesday at 10 PM that makes you rethink your life, so you panic-spiral and save it for later.

You never actually reopen your saved posts, but the idea is rattling around in your head, and you never shake the feeling that you're not doing "enough," or at least that you're not doing enough "right."

And that's not even counting the shifts in the economy that affect small businesses especially hard.

And I'm not the kind of coach that says external forces don't matter and it's all about mindset. That's some toxic positivity anti-feminist bullsh*t.

But there is a difference between conditions you cannot control and handing over your agency before anyone even asked for it.

I see too many small business owners operating their businesses as if they're standing on the deck of a ship, never adjusting the sails.

After six months in The Field Guild, you'll know how to steer.

Let me guess...

You hit your first six-figure year and felt like you "made it." Or at least, that's what you felt for at least a day or two.

And since then, you're working harder without the growth to match, and you can't figure out wtf is going on aside from this disastrous economy (fair).

You probably got here one of these ways:

  • You went viral once (or a few times). One enormous month, more orders than you could pack, and then the curve came back down and never went back up. You have been chasing that spike ever since.
  • You got a killer press feature. And the traffic and sales to match. You had a big boost, and then crickets.
  • You had a COVID peak. Everyone was shopping small and finding you on purpose. That tide went out and took a chunk of your revenue with it.
  • You built it in person. Markets, pop-ups, real conversations, and years of grinding on Instagram. You have a base that genuinely loves you. But it just won't get any bigger.
  • You grew an account back when growing an account was possible. Now you post into the void and hope you didn't waste an hour in Canva.
  • You watch as brands with deep pockets buy the attention you have to earn. While you're barely reaching 10% of your existing followers.

Yes, reach on social has plummeted and the platforms have become pay-to-play.

Yes, there are a lot more businesses in your industry today than there were a few years ago.

BUT, none of that means you can't build a business you want.

So WTF does it mean?

To grow, you have to be ruthlessly strategic. You have to say no to shiny objects. You have to stay laser-focused on sh*t that will find you new customers and/or bring back existing ones.

You don't need another product launch, another social media platform, another lead magnet, another tip, trick, or hack.

The solution when you've stalled is NOT more. It's LESS, but better.

The problem is, no one showed you what "better" really means.

Marketing math > marketing magic

Doing less but better comes down to making more money, more predictably. And that requires a stellar marketing plan.

A "marketing plan" sounds like a nice-to-have if you're gonna take time to write a business plan.

On paper, it sounds like something you could ask your summer intern to work on just to say it exists.

Wrong.

Your marketing plan is your revenue plan. And if you do not have a marketing strategy, you do not have a plan to make money.

Now, a marketing plan is NOT:

  • a collection of tactics you pulled from 4 different TikTok accounts
  • a bunch of new projects that get your creative juices flowing
  • a list of social platforms, content pillars, and a posting schedule
  • a newsletter you write once a month only when you panic about sales
  • a vision board for manifestation
  • something you write once and never look at again because you feel so stressed that your plan isn't working like you hoped

A real marketing plan reverse-engineers WHAT you're trying to achieve into the HOW and WHY.

A real marketing plan isn't a guess, it's an exact roadmap with predictable outcomes.

It's not predictable because it's magic. It's predictable because it's math.

A real marketing plan should feel like sitting in a control room knowing which levers to pull and when, NOT wishing upon a star.

What makes money moves

So, what kinds of things do you have to focus on in your marketing plan? Glad you asked.

01

Differentiation your ideal customer GAF about

What makes your brand different AND attracts your best fit customers while repelling everyone else?

And how can you frame this in a way that is unmistakably your brand?

02

A website that converts like clockwork

A good website isn't just "pretty." It's clear, consistent, easy, and fast.

You need the right mix of copy, imagery, design, and load speed, and you should be getting a sale from at least 2% of all your website traffic.

03

Email that moves people to buy without being pushy

I know, you don't want to "be annoying."

But you're not being annoying, you're being forgettable. Sending less doesn't fix that.

When you leverage segmentation, personalization, and conditional logic, your emails are actually helpful to your audience and to your bottom line.

04

Organic content with a real ass purpose

Selling on social doesn't mean turning into a QVC host or following a posting schedule with some boring ass content pillars.

Every piece of content should exist to either: bring in new eyeballs, build know / like / trust, or get sales.

You don't need to go viral, you just need a few of the right people to see your posts.

What about ads?

By now y'all know that I do love a good paid ad strategy.

But the Field Guild exists to help you max out your sales before you spend a dime on any ads.

In fact, I wish I had done everything in the Field Guild before I started on ads - I would've made a lot more money.

I had about 65% of it, sure, but ads amplify what's already there (mostly, I needed to stop shaving off the edges of my positioning). If you can get your organic strategy in tip-top shape before turning up the volume with ads, you will get so much more juice for the squeeze.

Depending on your business goals, you might not need ads to get there. Either way, the Field Guild will get your fundamentals tuned up, so if you want to try ads on the other side, you're the readiest freddy on the block.

Why this ain't that

I bet you've taken a course before. You might even have a bookmark graveyard of half-finished courses saved in your browser right now.

But you actually don't need more knowledge. You need to know what matters most, in what order, and how to actually implement it when life is happening around you.

Maybe you've been in a community membership.

But you find yourself continuously collecting guest speaker advice and you're back to feeling always behind in a never-ending game of more-more-more.

You might have worked with a coach.

But you tried doing what worked for their product business in 2014 and it just does not work for yours in 2026.

They talk mindset but won't acknowledge the impacts of where our country is right now. They made all that feel like your personal failing instead of a structural one.

It's possible you tried an ads agency.

But your messaging, positioning, website, and email aren't sharp enough, so you spent a helluva lot of money pouring water into a leaky bucket.

You don't need a longer to-do list and a lighter bank account. You need clarity, strategy, and implementation support beyond a pat on the back.

So here is the fix

You need an actual roadmap that takes decision fatigue off your plate.

You are not short on knowledge. You could open a browser right now and find fifty-leven blog posts about how to grow a product business, but you still wouldn't know where to start.

What you're short on is discernment. Specifically, discernment from someone who has actually grown a product business and can tell you what applies to you, right now, this month.

That's the guidebook: the next best step, then the one after that, then the one after that.

You need human support from a b*tch who's been there.

I've lived this.

I didn't do it in the exact order the Field Guild does, which is precisely why the order exists. Everything in here is built on real marketing principles and theory, and every bit of it has been road-tested on my own business, with my own blood, sweat, and tears.

None of this is theory from a textbook.

And sometimes when rubber meets road, you get a flat tire. When that happens you don't need a random PDF guide. You need a human who has been on the same road trip and can tell you where the next gas station is.

That's what the live calls are for. As a group, we meet twice a month to talk through what you've been working on, where you're stuck, and how to keep taking imperfect action.

You need personalized support at 10 PM on a Thursday so you're never starting from a blank page.

Here's what kills most programs: you get the homework, you're motivated to get it done, and then life happens. Two weeks later you open the Google Doc, stare at the resources, and think "I don't even know where the f*ck to start."

So I took everything I've learned the hard way and distilled it into a private chat trained on every single nuance of my frameworks. Your private version is pre-loaded with all the context on your business and strategy.

I named her Maria Luisa, after my no-nonsense grandma and great-aunt. She's your implementation partner to actually get sh*t done even when you're busy and tired.

You don't go to her for inspiration. You can absolutely get a pep talk, but she's going to bring you back around to knocking out your to-dos.

I'm not going to tell you she spits out a final draft in three seconds. What I'll tell you is that she gets you most of the way there with a fraction of the effort.

You're never starting from a blank page, or staring at your computer trying to figure out how to apply something to your business.

Why me

I'm a product founder, and I'm still running that business nine years later.

Everything I teach is stuff I wish somebody had handed me ten years ago, because it would have saved me an obscene amount of time, money, and effort.

I look back at who I was as a business owner five years ago and I want to give her a hug and then plop my current brain directly into her head, but I can't do that for past me. I can do it for you.

I'll help you build for your real budget and your real life.

I'm tired of the marketing bro nonsense that runs on more, more, more, forever.

I'm tired of the girlboss version, too.

I'm a Latina millennial mom with chronic illness, and I built this business inside the constraints of a real life. That's hard, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. It also means I'm not going to hand you homework designed for someone with no kids, no medical needs, and forty uninterrupted hours a week.

You're a real-ass person. You should be supported accordingly.

I'll give you a pep talk and a loving kick in the ass, depending on which one you need.

My own mentor says I'm love and light with a lot of hot sauce. She's not wrong.

I'm direct and I'm not going to coddle you, but I'm also not going to forget that you're a human being with limits.

Fair warning: I challenge people. Whether you like it or not, business growth requires almost a masochistic level of personal growth, and as much as we'll be talking about marketing fundamentals, some of this is going to require looking in the mirror and figuring out how to move through your personal limitations.

I'm not a therapist and I don't play one, but I will tell you the truth even when it's uncomfortable, because that's where the growth happens.

This is for you if...

This is NOT for you if...

You sell a physical product.

This cohort is built for product businesses, and the strategies here talk about things like inventory, catalogs, and repeat purchases.

You want it done for you.

This is done-with-you all the way down. Maria Luisa drafts with you, the cohort thinks with you, you ship. If you want it off your plate entirely, this ain't that.

You've got proof people want what you make.

If you've broken $100K in annual sales but you've struggled to grow further, this is for you. If you're under that, send me a note and I'll give you an honest read.

You want to run ads now.

Ads are deliberately excluded from this scope, and you won't be able to get ads support through Maria Luisa, either. If you're ready for ads, you should check out Fairy Marketing Mother.

You've hit your ceiling for effort.

And you're tired of pretending like your capacity is the same as your capability.

You'd rather stay comfortable even if it means you'll stay stuck.

Business growth requires getting out of our comfort zones. If you're not ready for that, Field Guild isn't right for you.

You're ready to cut the fluff and focus on the stuff that matters.

This sounds pretty boring in theory, but in practice it is going to feel very uncomfortable because it's unfamiliar.

You want community more than you want an outcome, because you've got to implement to see results.

The cohort is small and warm and one of the best parts. It's also not the point.

You're committed to implementing imperfectly.

This isn't another thing that will become part of your half-finished course graveyard. There are deliverables, there's loving accountability, and I expect imperfect, consistent action so you can get results.

You want someone who will validate all of your ideas.

I'll be your biggest cheerleader and your reality check all at once. I'm not a yes-woman, I'm a hold-up-lets-think-about-this woman.

Six Months | The Field Guild

It takes six months to implement everything, start seeing results, interpret the data, troubleshoot, optimize, scale, have a bad week or month, pivot, and keep going anyway. By the time you're done with the Field Guild you'll have the know-how and muscle memory for anything related to strategy, marketing, and growth in the future.

  • Maria Luisa, your 24/7 implementation partner

My method and my reasoning, trained on your business context, private and password-protected. Draft the email, rewrite the page, build the content plan, pressure-test the decision. Whenever you need her. Her context on your business updates as you go, so she gets sharper the longer you're in.

  • Twice-monthly live group calls

A small cohort of product founders working the same sequence together. Bring what you are stuck on.

  • The Field Guild guidebook

The full sequence, in order, with the reasoning under every step. There's always a method to my madness, and I want you to know the why just as much as the what.

  • A seat for your right hand

Your intern, your ops manager, your VA, whoever actually helps you get things done. One extra person, full access to the calls and the community. Maria Luisa lives on one business email, so you and your right hand work from the same account and she sees everything either of you has done. I want implementation to be absolutely unavoidable between Maria Luisa and your team.

  • The private community

Between calls, for the questions that need a human and can't wait two weeks.

  • Six months of the actual work

The business you have today is a result of the work you did 3 to 6 months ago. You'll get to watch what your work does (and how to get better at it) every single week for 6 months straight.

Founding Rate

FAQs

I'm not thinking about ads at all. Is this still for me?

Yep! In fact, the Field Guild is the prerequisite for ads and the thing you need if you never want to run them at all.

So what happens before I get on my first call?

I give you detailed homework (yes, you'll need to dig into your analytics, and no I'm not sorry about it 😅) and from your there, I'll build out your business "cartridge" for your personalized Maria Luisa chat. We hit the ground running.

Is Maria Luisa just ChatGPT with a wrapper?

Hell no. While Maria Luisa does use Claude API to administer my frameworks, everything in there is developed from my own intellectual property. I spent months taking all of my hard-won strategy, insights, and frameworks and externalizing them into a documented system. When you add that to your specific business context "cartridge," the output is specific, relevant, and helpful, and I've programmed it to tell you point-blank when the answer is "I don't know," or "check with Gabi."

Wait, so is Maria Luisa AI?

Yes. Maria Luisa runs on Anthropic's Claude API, and I'm not going to be cagey about it.

Two things to keep in mind:

(1) Everything programmed inside the chat is my own intellectual property, loaded with the specific context of your business, so you're not getting generic advice. In fact, I've programmed her to be brutally honest when she doesn't have enough data to make a recommendation.

(2) Anthropic's commercial terms prohibit training models on API customer content. That's contractual, so nothing you tell her trains a model and your business IP never becomes anybody else's raw material. I can see your conversations, because I'm the one who built and tunes your cartridge. But no one else can, including other members.

And for the record, I have a complicated view on AI. The environmental impact, the lack of regulation, the corporate greed, the AI economic bubble - it's got significant downsides. And also, as underfunded and under-resourced small business owners, sometimes we have to use the tools of the oppressor to get ahead. I have a lot of thoughts on AI and fair warning it's super nuanced, so be prepared to hold two truths at the same time. Here's where I actually land.

Why won't the Maria Luisa chat help me with ads?

Because ads are the step after this one. If they were available here, you'd go straight there, skip the foundations, and pour money into a leaky bucket. I won't let you play yourself like that.

Is this for service businesses or coaches?

Not this founding cohort, no. The Field Guild is product businesses only to start. If there's enough demand I'll open a cohort for service and thought-leadership businesses later, so tell me on the waitlist if that's you.

What if I finish and I do want to move on to ads?

Then you graduate and we talk. Field Guild members get first look at Fairy Marketing Mother slots, and you show up with your foundations already done, which means your first ad dollar works harder than most people's hundredth.

What if I finish and I don't ever want to run ads?

Then you've got a business making more money on the same traffic and you saved yourself an ad budget. No problem.

How big is the cohort?

Never more than 12 active members at a time, and enrollment opens quarterly with about six spots. I keep this intimate on purpose - I want to have my finger on the pulse of what everyone is working on so I can give you the individualized attention you deserve.

Is this only for women?

Hypema'am was built with women, femmes, nonbinary folks, and anyone who identifies as a woman in mind. Men are welcome if you are ready and eager to be part of a matriarchal community and learn from a strong woman who knows her stuff.

Can I talk to you before I officially enroll?

Absolutely. I want to make sure we're the right fit for each other. You can book a free discovery call here.
